Teaching music online is a contradiction in terms. Would you teach ballet online? Baseball? There is no substitute for one-on-one teacher interaction with a live student.
I have an entire page on my site devoted to my strong opinions of online methods and commercial CD sets that promise you'll play like a pro in no time. jamesmusicstudio(dot)com
Hi all. I've been on this site since last spring, and currently have one referral from it in my studio. I can teach flute, voice, oboe, theory, and conducting, but right now only have one voice student, the rest on flute, and one sorta on theory. I am American, but have been living in the Toronto area for the past six years. I would like to hear from any Canucks out there who want to share their RCM exam experience, as for the first time I have two flute students taking the next exam.
Hello, my name is Justin! Being 23 and having studied the violin for 18 years, I have an incredibly strong passion for music. I am highly motivated to bring music into the lives of people who truly desire to have it a part of their lifestyle but don't know how to go about making it happen, or those who are already studying the violin and just need guidance into perfecting their craft. I work at the Kelin Violin Shop and the International Music Conservatory in Plano, TX, and I am trying to reach out in as many ways as possible in hopes to bring musical inspiration to anyone who desires it!
